ReelCart ("the App") is owned and operated by BlueHorse Software Solutions Pvt Ltd ("we", "our", or "us"). This Privacy Policy explains how information is collected, used, and protected when merchants install and use the ReelCart Shopify app.

1. Information We Collect

Store Information

• Shop domain / store identifier
• App installation status
• Active subscription plan

Video & Playlist Data

• Video IDs uploaded by the merchant
• Playlist IDs created by the merchant
• Template configuration selected by the merchant

Order Data (Limited & Purpose-Specific)

ReelCart accesses order data only to provide analytics related to video-driven sales.

• Internal video or playlist identifier (e.g. _reel_id)
• Order revenue amount
• Order timestamp
• Store identifier

We do NOT collect or store:

• Customer names or email addresses
• Phone numbers
• Payment information
• Shipping or billing addresses
• Full order details unrelated to ReelCart analytics

2. How We Use the Data

We use collected data strictly to:

• Display analytics on video-driven orders
• Calculate revenue generated from ReelCart videos
• Show conversion metrics (views to orders)
• Enforce usage limits based on subscription plans
• Improve app performance and reliability

We do not use data for advertising, profiling, or resale.

3. Order Attribution Method

When a product is added to the cart via a ReelCart video, the app attaches a custom line item property (for example: _reel_id). Only orders containing this property are processed for ReelCart analytics.

4. Data Storage & Security

• All data is stored securely using industry-standard practices
• Data is scoped per merchant and not shared across stores
• Access to data is restricted to authorized services only

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell, rent, or share merchant or order data with third parties. Data is used only within the ReelCart app for the installing merchant.

6. Data Retention

Data is retained only as long as the merchant has the app installed or as required to provide analytics features. When the app is uninstalled, data may be deleted or anonymized.

7. Merchant Rights

Merchants may:

• Uninstall the app at any time
• Request clarification about data usage
• Request data deletion by contacting us

8. Compliance

ReelCart complies with Shopify’s API License and Terms of Service and applicable data protection requirements.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date.
